WORLD CHAMPION! Kristian Hogenhaug wins World Triathlon Long Distance World Championship, team mate Pablo Dapena Gonzalez finishes 6th

Kristian Hogenhaug is the new World Triathlon Long Distance World Champion. The Danish athlete put together an excellent all-round performance in Almere to break the tape in a mind-blowing time of 7:37:46. BMC Team mate Pablo Dapena Gonzales had a fantastic race as well and took 6th place. Jesper Svensson (SWE; 7:39:25) finished 2nd, with Reinaldo Colucci (BRA; 7:45:15) rounding out the podium.

Patrik Nilsson crowns himself the new Ironman European Champion, team mate Kristian Hogenhaug takes second

An incredible day of racing for the BMC Pro Triathlon Team. Patrik Nilsson put together an exceptional performance in Frankfurt to crown himself the new Ironman European Champion. Nilsson overtook team mate Kristian Hogenhaug in the closing stages of the marathon to run to the biggest victory in his career in a finishing time of 7:59:21. BMC team mate Hogenhaug who had been dominating the bike leg, put up a fantastic fight to hang on for second (DEN; 8:00:18). David McNamee (GBR; 8:02:29) completed the podium.

Outstanding Katrina Matthews wins Ironman UK!

Katrina Matthews took home the victory in dominating fashion at Ironman UK. An excellent swim, bike and run combination on a demanding course saw her brake the tape in a time of 9:40:01. Her compatriots Nikki Bartlett (GBR; 10:02:43) and Chantal Cummings (GBR; 10:10:33) joined the BMC athlete on the podium.

Another podium finish for Pablo Dapena Gonzalez as he finishes 3rd at Challenge Gdansk in Poland

After two 2nd places and a 4th place finish in previous races, Pablo Dapena Gonzales put together another excellent performance to take home 3rd place in Challenge Gdansk. The BMC athlete raced in front of the race all day long after a more than solid swim, bike and run performance to finish in a time 3:49:21. James Teagle (GBR; 3:46:14) won the race in front of Matt Trautman (RSA; 3:48:18). With yet another podium finish Gonzalez takes over the lead in the Challenge Family World Ranking.

Max Neumann defends his title in style and takes the Ironman Asia-Pacific Championship title for the second year in a row.

Max Neumann put together an astonishing performance to take the repeat win at Ironman Cairns and to crown himself Asia-Pacific Champion for the second year in a row. Racing from the front all day long in impressive fashion, the BMC triathlete finished in a spectacular winning time of 7:58:55. Fellow countryman Tim Van Berkel claimed second in 8:06:39 with Josh Amberger finishing third (8:10:12).

Katrina Matthews takes fantastic second place at Ironman North American Championship

Katrina Matthews took home an incredible 2nd place at the Ironman North American Championship in Tulsa. Even a 5 minute penalty, couldn’t stop Matthews claiming the silver. Katrina posted a unbelievable 2:49:49 marathon, the 3rd fastest female marathon of all time in Ironman history. The BMC Pro athlete crossed the finish line in a time of 8:45:35. Daniella Ryf (SUI; 8:40:34) won the race with Sky Moench (USA; 8:47:45) finishing in third position.

Another outstanding performance sees Pablo Dapena Gonzalez take second place at Challenge Riccione

Pablo Dapena Gonzalez took home 2nd place in Challenge Riccione after a tough battle in the final kilometers of the run with Thomas Steger. Eventually, Pablo Dapena crossed the line in a time of 3:53:54. Thomas Steger (GER; 3:52:34) won the race, with Sebastien Kienle (GER; 3:55:19) snatching the final podium spot.

Pablo Dapena Gonzalez takes a fantastic second place at Challenge Gran Canaria. Katrina Matthews finishes 4th

Pablo Dapena Gonzalez (3:42:30) claimed 2nd place in Challenge Gran Canaria in a stacked field. The Spaniard raced all day long in the front of the race to snatch 2nd place after a hard charge in the final kilometers of the run. Jan Frodeno (GER; 3:41:21) won the race, with Nick Kastelein (AUS; 3:42:42) finishing 3rd.

Max Neumann wins Challenge Shepparton after an outstanding performance.

Max Neumann took a fantastic victory at Challenge Shepparton. After a dominating run performance Max broke the tape in a time of 3:42:37. The first victory of the season for both Neumann and the BMC Pro Triathlon Team. Josh Amberger (AUS; 3:46:14) and Steven McKenna (AUS; 3:47:06) joined Neumann on the podium.
