read more...With a great surge in the final kilometers of the run, Sam Dickinson finished IM70.3 Venice-Jesolo in 4th place. After a fast race in all three disciplines, the BMC athlete crossed the line in a time of 3:33:03, just 16 seconds short of the podium. Panagiotis Bitados (GRE; 3:31:01) inched out Cameron Main (GBR; 3:31:07) for the win with Emil Holm (DEN; 3:32:47) rounding out the podium.
read more...Antonio Benito Lopez has clinched 2nd place at the Ironman North American Championship in Texas after racing in front all day long. The BMC athlete crushed it on the bike with a sub-4-hour bike split, followed by a 2h41min marathon. Benito crossed the finish line in a phenomenal time of 7:32:23. With this performance, the Spaniard immediately secured his slot for the Ironman World Championship in Nice, later this year. Kristian Blummenfelt (NOR; 7:24:20) won the race, with Rudy Von Berg (USA; 7:33:26) rounding out the podium.
read more...Miguel Hidalgo left his mark finishing his debut race over the half distance victorious and that in the 4th fastest winning time in history. The BMC athlete raced in front all day long and made his decisive move in the closing half marathon. The Brazilian won in a blistering time of 3:31:41. Frenchman Casimir Moine (3:32:23) finished second with Luciano Taccone (AR; 3:35:44) completing the podium. An extraordinary debut over the half distance for Miguel Hidalgo who also took his qualifying slot for the IM70.3 Worlds in Marbella later in the year.
