We are incredibly proud and grateful of the legacy we have built so far, but even more exciting of what’s to come in 2026 and beyond. We will announce the next chapter in our legacy shortly in the new year, but in the meantime, we are very excited to present you our fantastic roster of talent for next season”.

De Wolf indicates: “As we continue to set out very ambitious targets for the years to come, I am very proud and pleased with the team line up we have confirmed for next year: Daisy Davies (GBR), Finn Grosse-Freese (GER), Miguel Hidalgo (BRA), Antonio Benito Lopez (ESP), Laura Madsen (DEN) and Cameron Main (GBR)”
Team roster 2026:

“The cooperation with Thor Bendix Madsen, Clément Mignon, Sam Dickinson and Lucy Byram will come to an end at the end of this season. Bob De Wolf adds: “Thor (3 seasons), Clément (2 seasons), Sam (2 seasons) and Lucy (2 seasons), have played an instrumental part in what we have been able to achieve as a team over the past few years. All four athletes have been fantastic athletes to work with and contributed to some of the most memorable moments for the BMC Pro Triathlon team the past two seasons. We are incredibly grateful for what Thor, Clément, Sam and Lucy have done for the team, as top athletes, as fantastic people to work with and for the outstanding results they have achieved as a member of our team. It has been an incredible journey and we wish them all the very best with their future careers”.
Three new faces in the team
Daisy Davies is the first new athlete in the team and will join the team from next season onwards. De Wolf adds: “We are incredibly proud and excited to work with such a line-up of talent next season. Daisy Davies had a real breakthrough year in 2025, becoming European Champion Long Distance Triathlon and that on her debut over the distance. At the age of 23 Daisy is an incredible talent and one of the up and coming stars to go and disrupt the long distance triathlon scene”.

Daisy is really looking forward to the season ahead: “I’m really excited about the opportunity to join the team as it represents high performance, professionalism, and a strong commitment to athlete development. I’m also really looking forward to meeting and learning from the team and support staff. Being part of a team, with such technical expertise and a clear vision for excellence is an ideal setting for me to take the next step in reaching my full potential. The equipment which the team has access to is also going to help take my performances to the next level. For 2026, my focus is on delivering consistent, high-level performances throughout the season and putting myself in a strong position to qualify for, and be competitive at, the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona”.
Also Finn Grosse-Freese is one of the new faces in the team. “Finn had an incredible 2025 season, crowning himself Champion in both Ironman Klagenfurt in Austria and Ironman Copenhagen. Finn targets another Ironman title and top finish at the Ironman World Championships in Kona next season, an ambition we fully believe Finn can go and realize next year”.

Finn Grosse-Freese is really looking forward to the season ahead: “I immediately felt that this team would be a perfect fit for me. Bob and Ben‘s enthusiasm, professionalism and clear vision to form and develop a professional team is outstanding. Being surrounded by a world-class team with so much experience and knowledge is the perfect next step in my career. I believe this environment can help me find the final few percentage points needed to perform consistently at the very highest level. With the right support, structure, and shared ambition, I am confident we can achieve great results together. My main goals for the 2026 season is to win a major Ironman race and to achieve a top finish at the Ironman World Championship in Kona. I am highly motivated and I am sure that being part of the team will be one of the keys to reach these ambitions”.
“Cameron Main had a great season”, De Wolf continues. “We are incredibly excited to start working with him. Cameron recently won Ironman Western Australia and that on his Ironman debut. With his 2026 Kona qualification secured, Cameron has his sight set on a podium in the Ironman Pro Series and podium at multiple Ironman Pro Series events along the way”.

Cameron Main is really excited about next season: “I am really looking forward to being part of a team that strives for peak performance in all areas of triathlon. Being part of the team is exactly what I need to level up my performance and help me get onto the podium of the Ironman World Championships in Kona. I can truly now put all my focus into my training and racing since I am going to be very well supported by the excellent team members along with all their incredible kit to keep my training and racing sharp! I am always looking to improve my performance in the sport of triathlon, whether that is from physical fitness or equipment. In the end I hope this transforms into great results at World Championships and Ironman Pro Series events to mark my name as one of the key players in the world of long course triathlon. I am really looking forward to working with a professional team of sports scientists, doctors, coaches, mechanics and world class athletes to understand more about my strengths and weaknesses and learn where I can make the small gains to consistently perform well when it matters. My main ambition for 2026 is to podium in the Ironman Pro Series. I also hope to be competitive at my first Ironman World Championships in Kona, which will be my key goal for the year. Alongside these goals I want to podium at multiple Ironman Pro Series events across the year, increasing exposure for me as an athlete but also my team”.
Thor Bendix Madsen looks back at his 3 years as a member of the team: “I have truly enjoyed the support I have got from the team staff, members and sponsors the last 3 years. Always feeling a trust in my abilities as an athlete even through the results haven’t been what I dreamed off when I got signed after my 8th place at Ironman 70.3 Worlds in 2022. I thought that I could take my career to the absolute world top as I’ve seen other athletes have done with the team. The following year I got 9th at the Ironman 70.3 Worlds, which is my best result with the team. I’m disappointed with myself that I couldn’t give the team more with my 3 years. I’ll forever be a fan of the team and hope the team all the best in the future”.
Also Clément Mignon wanted to take a moment to reflect on these past two years with the BMC Pro Triathlon Team. “Even though we didn’t reach all the objectives we set for ourselves, I am truly proud to have represented the team and to have worn the BMC team colors. It was a dream and goal in my career already when I started triathlon 10 years ago . I’m very grateful for the support throughout this journey, as well as for the professionalism, guidance, and trust from all staff involved. Working under the team management direction has been an important experience for me, both as an athlete and as a person. Thank you again for everything, and I wish you and the team all the best moving forward”.
“Being a part of the BMC team for the past two years has been a privilege and extremely rewarding for me as an athlete”, adds Lucy Byram. “The team allowed me to perform at my best at every race over the last two years, providing me with the best equipment, medical and team support. I wish the team all the best for what’s next, and I can’t wait to follow their journey”.
Sam Dickinson reflects on his time as a member of the BMC Pro Triathlon Team: “I’ve had the best 2 years in the BMC Pro Tri family, but unfortunately all good things must come to an end. I can’t thank Bob and Ben enough for taking a chance on me in 2023, and what followed had been undoubtedly the best 2 year stretch in my triathlon career. From winning an Olympic medal in Paris to my first Ironman 70.3 win in Italy, before this year landing my debut T100 podium, helping for a top 8 world ranking over the distance. All of this with the BMC pro Tri team in my corner every step of the way. I’m wishing the team and new partners all the best for the coming years and look forward to bumping into you all at races soon”.
